This policy explains how SocerStreams produces its coverage, how we handle attribution and accuracy, and what readers can expect when something goes wrong. It applies to every article, data page and update we publish.
Originality
All editorial on SocerStreams is original. We never copy or lightly rewrite other publications’ commentary, reports or articles, and we do not present another outlet’s work as our own. Scores, scorers, kick-off times and results are facts, and those facts are published as data rather than as copied editorial.
Attribution
Transfer news is always labelled as either a rumour or confirmed, with the originating source named. An unconfirmed report is never presented as fact. If a story develops and a rumour becomes confirmed, we update our coverage and make the change of status clear to readers.
Data Accuracy
Our scores, fixtures, tables and statistics come from free public data feeds (football-data.org), credited on the site. Automated publication keeps coverage fast, and human spot-checks help us spot problems. If a feed is wrong, we correct the record when the provider corrects it, and we will confirm that correction to any reader who asks.
Corrections Process
Readers can report an error via our Contact page. Genuine errors are fixed promptly. Where a correction is significant — for example, a wrong score, scorer, date or factual claim in an article — the correction is noted on the article itself, together with the date of the correction, so readers can see what changed.
Independence
SocerStreams publishes no betting content and no paid placements disguised as editorial. Our coverage decisions are made on editorial grounds. Any future commercial relationship that could affect coverage will be disclosed on the page it affects, in plain language, before or alongside the affected content.
Images and Crests
We use images and club crests only as permitted, including the nominative use of crests in fixtures and tables to identify teams. We respect the rights of photographers, clubs, leagues and other rights holders. Rights holders can reach us via our Contact page for prompt removal or correction of any material they believe should not be used.
